Owens Horseboxes is a trusted name in high-quality horsebox manufacturing, combining craftsmanship, innovation, and a strong connection to the equestrian world. We're looking for a motivated Trainee Social Media Marketing & Content Creator to support our marketing team and develop hands-on digital skills.

The Role

This is ideal for someone passionate about social media, content creation, and the equestrian lifestyle. You'll work closely with our team to help create, post, and manage content across our social media platforms while learning the fundamentals of digital marketing and brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, create, and publish engaging content across platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Capture good quality photo and video content of horseboxes, builds, behind-the-scenes moments, events, and customer stories Help edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories) (e.g. CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar) Write captions and basic copy in line with brand tone Help manage the content calendar and schedule posts Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages Monitor post performance and assist with reporting insights Support campaigns, launches, and promotions

About You

Understanding of social media platforms and what performs well on each Creative, enthusiastic, and keen to learn Confident with photography and videography using a smartphone Basic video editing skills (e.g. CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar) Basic graphic design skills (Canva / Adobe Suite) Creative, self-motivated, and full of ideas Good written communication skills Interest in horses or the equestrian industry is a big advantage Reliable, organised, and willing to take initiative
