Roles and responsibilities:



Social Media Management:



- Implement, manage, and schedule posts across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other platforms.

- Capture and produce high quality video content for various projects including promotional materials, events, and social media.

- Develop ideas for seasonal media campaigns, product highlights, or industry-specific events, and create a monthly/yearly social media content calendar for team approval.

- Monitor social trends, suggest innovative ideas, and analyse performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.

- Create engaging and informative content that resonates with our target audience for various platforms, including social media, website, blogs, emails, and marketing materials.

- Work closely with departments including engineering, sales, service, training, and production to uncover and share relevant content.

- Write accurate, engaging captions and updates in a clear, professional tone.

- Grow and engage with our online communities by responding to comments and messages promptly.

- Encourage and curate user-generated content (UGC) to enhance community involvement and brand visibility.

Marketing & Events



- Coordinate the exhibition calendar (UK and overseas) and assist UK & Exports Managers with events organisation.

- Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials internally and to our overseas business partners via the VAC-EX portal.

- Assist other team members in liaising with creative agencies (such as marketing agencies, web developers, audio visual professionals, photographers, and printers)

- Complete application forms for grants and business awards

- Source advertising opportunities and place adverts/advertorial material in trade magazines.

- Updating website through CMS, when needed

- Any other tasks required for the efficient running of the marketing department.

Key Skills (Mandatory)



- Proficiency in videography and editing software such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere etc.

- Proven experience with social media management and platforms such as Hootsuite

- Familiarity with all social media channels

- Excellent copywriting and copy-editing skills

- Excellent organisational and communication skills

- Reliable, able to meet deadlines and work well in a busy team.

- Ability to work well under pressure.

- Able to work to brand guidelines.

- Design skills for design elements (Adobe Creative Suite or Canva)

Key Skills (Desirable)



- Experience with Content Management Systems

- Knowledge of Google Analytics
