Social Media & Marketing Executive

Department - Marketing & Communications

Reporting To - Eloise McDowell, Marketing & Communications Manager

The Role -

As Social Media & Marketing Executive, you will lead the way for the delivery of social media across all mainstreams of communication within GPG, assisting with the successful delivery of marketing projects, launches, and other day to day admin roles. In addition, you will help with the daily running of the marketing department, forward planning, and scheduling, all to help grow the social platforms organically, with continuing brand aesthetic and building a brand community.

Desirable skill - Proficiency in Spanish as a second language, with the ability to communicate effectively in professional contexts

Your Key Responsibilities -

Develop a social media schedule, coordinate the planning and content creation, deliver the posts, manage engagement, across LinkedIn, Meta platforms, YouTube and other platforms

Manage content planning while staying reactive - trend lead content, travel content and updates etc.

Produce content creation - editing videos and other visual content, graphics, image design

Collaborate with Marketing Team - to ensure visuals, messaging and plans are on brand

Manage content library - both marketing and technical

Monthly Reporting - report, monitor and optimise content performance using insights and analytics

Assist with the delivery of projects across all pillars of marketing - email, communications, communications metrics, breeder reports and relationships, marketing admin, database assistance, quarterly email newspaper, article creation, other content creation

As we grow, there will be opportunities to take on social media strategy, campaign management, leadership and others depending on interests and skills

About You -

1-2 Years of Social Media / Marketing Experience (not horticulture or agriculture sector specific) - As Social Media & Marketing Executive, you must have a keen interest and broad knowledge of social media, from hobby to experience and a great eye for detail. Experience within marketing, and a passion to learn more.

Education - relevant degree or higher education level of award

Skills and Competencies - strong communication skills, must be able to work alone, but as part of a team too. Must want to grow within the role and take on more responsibility as the company grows.

Competent with Microsoft Office, Canva or equivalent

Must be comfortable working with AI and utilising AI marketing

Details -

Work Environment / Conditions - remote, hybrid.

Travel requirements - must be happy to travel. Travel to office (PE Post Code) for meetings, travel as-hoc for events etc.

Compensation and Benefits -

Part-Time - 25 Hours per week (across 5 days per week ideal, however flexible on this, 5 days - 5hours)

Salary - Living Wage

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
