Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in social media management and public relations within a fast-paced environment. The Social Media Intern will assist in developing engaging content, managing our social media platforms, and enhancing our online presence.

Duties

Assist in creating and curating compelling content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and LinkedIn. Monitor social media channels for trends, comments, and messages, responding promptly to engage with our audience. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop social media campaigns that align with overall marketing strategies. Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activity to inform content creation and strategy. Help maintain a content calendar to ensure timely posting and engagement across all platforms. Assist in tracking and analysing social media metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies. Support public relations efforts by drafting press releases and assisting with media outreach as needed.

Requirements

Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences. Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Familiarity with basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) is advantageous but not essential. Previous experience or coursework in social media management or public relations is preferred. A passion for storytelling and creating engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 10,000.00-25,000.00 per year
