Opportunity

We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern to join us for 6 weeks to take on responsibility for developing and implementing new and engaging content across our social media channels to attract new talent and increase awareness of the Launch Business Incubator.

Salford Business School (SBS) has over 3,000 students and around 100 academic staff. It recently achieved AMBA, EFMD\'s EPAS accreditation, has been awarded THE 2014 Business School of the Year and is now pursuing AACSB accreditation. It is poised to progress, with opportunities to develop profile and identity, enhance quality and expand partnerships with business, international institutions and colleagues across the University.
Salford Business School offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes in the general disciplines of international accounting, finance and economics; international strategic, people management and law; international marketing and services management; and, international operations and information management. The School offers a Master of Business Administration (MBA) on a part-time and full-time basis on campus, via blended VLE-learning and in-company delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

• Generating, editing, publishing and sharing engaging content
• Regularly updating and interacting across our talent social media channels
• Performing research on current talent benchmark trends and audience preferences
• Suggesting and implementing new features to develop brand awareness
• Liaising with the wider University team to promote Launch activities and brand awareness
• Determining growth metrics and reporting on social media activity.

• Graduate of the University of Salford within last 3 years or final year student in marketing, business or related field
• Knowledge with social media platforms LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook
• Excellent copyrighting and communication skills
• Excellent written and spoken English with exceptional vocabulary and grammar
• Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail
• Proactive nature
