Social Media Officer

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for an enthusiastic and creative Social Media Officer. Reporting to the Social Media Lead, the role will deliver engaging content across owned social media accounts, including for priority campaigns and products.

Position: CE203 Social Media Officer

Location: Homebased, UK, Nationwide however Occasional travel will be required as part of this role (May include team meetings or other work related meetings)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: Circa \xc2\xa328,000 per annum (inner London weighting \xc2\xa33,299 per annum or outer London weighting \xc2\xa31,755 per annum may be applied in accordance to where you live)

Contract: Permanent

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Works as part of a team to deliver the Association\xe2\x80\x99s social media presence, engaging core customers and those who influence them to receive support or give support to our cause
  • To produce and oversee social media delivery that meets KPIs identified in comms briefs.
  • To share updates on overall/campaign specific performance with key stakeholders
  • Delivery of social media management processes including social media inbox monitoring, including some out-of-hours.
About You

You will have experience of:
  • Planning, executing and monitoring social media plans against identified briefs and overarching objectives. Delivering strategic communications, reactive and evergreen content to promote specific campaigns and the charities services.
  • Social media scheduling and listening tools and a good understanding of how content can mobilise a public audience to support a cause by donating, fundraising, and campaigning
  • Ability to monitor emerging technologies and industry trends, providing perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Understanding of the principles of crisis and reputation management on social media
