Social Media & PR Executive

to join our dynamic team and help share our story with the world.

Role Overview



The Social Media & PR Executive will play a key role in driving brand awareness, guest engagement, and media relations. You will be responsible for creating compelling content, managing social channels, and coordinating public relations initiatives that reflect our unique brand and voice.

Key Responsibilities



Social Media:



Develop and implement a social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, and LinkedIn. Create, curate, and schedule engaging content including posts, stories, videos, and reels. Monitor engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments, reach) and report on performance. Engage with followers and respond to messages and reviews in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with the kitchen, bar, events, and guest services teams to showcase daily highlights and promotions. Stay ahead of trends and suggest creative ideas to boost visibility and virality.

Public Relations:



Build and maintain strong relationships with local and national media, bloggers, and influencers. Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and feature articles. Organise and host media visits, influencer stays, and PR events. Monitor media coverage and compile regular PR reports. Represent the hotel and restaurant brand at relevant networking events and hospitality forums.

Brand and Content Management:



Ensure brand consistency across all communications and platforms. Work with designers, photographers, and videographers to produce high-quality visual assets. Assist in creating marketing materials for seasonal campaigns, offers, and events.

Requirements



Proven experience (2+ years) in a similar social media or PR role, preferably within hospitality, lifestyle, or F&B. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite, Canva, Hootsuite, Later, etc.). Experience in content creation - including photography and short-form video. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends for events or content capture. A passion for food, hospitality, and digital storytelling.

Desirable:



Knowledge of SEO and digital advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads). Existing relationships with UK hospitality/lifestyle media and influencers. Photography, videography or graphic design skills.
