Main Role:



This is an engaging and pivotal position within our organisation, aimed at supporting the group in fulfilling social value commitments across various contracts. As a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) advocate, you will play a key role in organising and delivering impactful community projects.

Job Duties (to include but not limited to):



- Work effectively with colleagues to coordinate and deliver social value commitments in line with the Social Value Delivery Strategy

- Ensure compliance and achievement of company and project targets for Social Value

- Engage with our internal teams, our clients and our supply chain in the development, delivery and implementation of project specific social value plans

- Ensure social value is recorded, monitored and maintained using internal databases and systems

- Work with the Marketing Coordinator to produce outcome-based reports and case studies

- Research and Local Needs Analysis to inform our Social Value offering within bids and proposals

- Coordination and administration of social value activities within your region

- Supporting and participating in social value activities in differing settings for example, schools, job centres, community organisations

- Promoting the Business across multiple social media platforms & events

Requirements:



- Experience within an employee engagement, training, community engagement, social value or a CSR role, or have had elements of these in a previous role preferred

- Passionate about people, and have an understanding of how keeping the workforce and communities engaged can have a positive impact on project outcomes

- Good communication skills with the ability to tailor these to suit different audiences

- Ability to demonstrate respect for difference and diversity

- Experience within the construction sector preferred

- Able to prioritise tasks and see through to completion

- Exceptional organisation skills

- Work unsupervised and prioritise tasks effectively and efficiently

- Proactive, reliable & punctual

- Being a team player
