About this opportunity

Are you a passionate Social Worker looking to make a real difference in people's lives while working in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK? We're seeking three enthusiastic and committed practitioners to join our Safeguarding Adults Team in Cumberland.

Based primarily across North and West Cumbria, with flexibility to support other areas, this is an exciting opportunity to take on a pivotal role protecting adults at risk, leading safeguarding enquiries, chairing case conferences, and working closely with partners such as health services, the police, and the voluntary sector.

You'll manage a varied caseload, provide expert safeguarding advice, and use a strengths-based approach to empower individuals, reduce risks, and protect vulnerable adults from harm, abuse, and neglect.

Why join us?

Relocation package available

- We know moving for a role is a big decision, so we're here to make it easier. Support is available to help you settle into your new home and community.

A lifestyle you won't find elsewhere

- Living and working in Cumbria offers the best of both worlds. You'll have a fulfilling and rewarding career while being surrounded by stunning landscapes, from the world-famous Lake District National Park to unspoilt coastlines and vibrant market towns. Whether you enjoy hiking, water sports, cycling, or simply relaxing in a picturesque setting, Cumbria provides an outstanding quality of life.

Supportive environment

- You'll be part of a team that values collaboration, compassion, and innovation. We focus on potential over perfection, giving you opportunities to develop your skills and grow your career.

A role with real impact

- This isn't just a job. It's a chance to make a genuine difference in safeguarding the most vulnerable adults in our community.

If you're ready for a new challenge in a supportive, forward-thinking team - and perhaps a new life in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK - then we'd love to hear from you.
