We currently have a fantastic opportunity within our Safeguarding Hub for a full-time Social Worker to support our ongoing development, contribute fresh perspectives, and help drive forward best practice and innovation within the team.

The successful candidate will join a knowledgeable, welcoming, and supportive team, working with adults at risk to deliver proportionate safeguarding responses across Trafford in accordance with current legislation. Prior experience in adult social care and a strong understanding of the relevant legal frameworks are essential. You'll receive regular professional and managerial supervision, as well as access to training opportunities to support your development and maintain your CPD.

About the Role
The Safeguarding Hub acts as a single point of access for all adult safeguarding referrals received by the Local Authority. It is responsible for screening incoming concerns, coordinating provider led safeguarding responses, and addressing organisational safeguarding matters. In this role, you will contribute actively to a dedicated safeguarding team, ensuring that all responses are proportionate and in accordance with current legislative frameworks to effectively support adults at risk.
