We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of various landscapes, ensuring that gardens and grounds are kept in excellent condition. The Landscape Technician will work with both hand tools and power tools to perform a variety of tasks, contributing to the overall beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities
Maintain grounds through regular upkeep, including mowing, trimming, and weeding.
Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, mulching, and fertilising.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns regarding their landscapes.
Qualifications
Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to the operation of landscaping equipment.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
Familiarity with garden plants, trees, and shrubs is advantageous.
Physical stamina to perform manual labour, including lifting heavy materials when necessary.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
A valid driver's licence is required for transportation between job sites.
