The George & Dragon is entering an exciting new chapter, and we're looking for enthusiastic Soft Play Assistants to join our team.

We're creating a welcoming, family-friendly space where children can play safely, parents can relax, and everyone feels at home. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a much-loved local venue and help shape its future.

What You'll Do:

Provide a warm, friendly welcome to children and their families Supervise play areas to ensure a safe, fun, and engaging environment Support the smooth running of daily activities and play sessions Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the venue Assist with parties and special events, making every visit memorable Serve food and drinks where required and handle customer queries with care Work closely with your team to deliver excellent service at all times
What We're Looking For:

A positive, caring, and energetic attitude Experience working with children or in a customer-facing role (preferred but not essential) Great communication and teamwork skills A focus on safety, cleanliness, and creating a fun environment The ability to stay calm and friendly in a busy setting A genuine passion for working with families and kids

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
