Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Soft Play & Cafe Assistant to join our team at our Soft Play Dessert Parlour. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background ensuring that our venue provides exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food production, preparation and cleanliness. This role requires a hands-on approach to engage with customers, interacting with younger children, being approachable and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

We are looking for someone to work specifically Monday to Friday. (Overtime is available) and those who are comfortable and confident enough to be left alone from time to time.

The position offered is FULL TIME! We are NOT interested in temporary applications or summer positions. We are looking for someone to be the face of the business along side us every week.

Pay varies depending on the age of the candidate applying.

Duties

Oversee daily operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and cleanliness of the cafe. Manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimising waste. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards. Cleaning on a regular basis. Interacting and being approachable to younger children.

Qualifications

Knowledge of food production processes and culinary techniques is essential. Barista Experience. Experience working with younger children Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service. Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others and enhancing customer experiences.

Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour
