We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our vibrant team at Frankie & Lola's in the UK. If you're ready to step up, support a thriving team, and build your leadership skills, this is your opportunity.
This role is crucial in ensuring our soft play area and cafe operate smoothly while providing exceptional experiences for our young guests and their families.
Responsibilities:
Support Leadership
: Help guide and motivate the team, ensuring exceptional service, energy, and professionalism across the venue.
Operational Execution
: Assist in hitting sales and performance targets through hands-on day-to-day management and smart, responsive decision-making.
Customer Experience
: Work on the floor to ensure every family has a fun, memorable visit. Handle guest queries and step in to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Team Support & Training
: Support with onboarding, training, and ongoing development of staff. Lead by example and help maintain a high-performing team culture.
Safety & Standards
: Help ensure health and safety procedures are followed rigorously and consistently across the venue.
Kitchen & Cafe Oversight
: Use your experience in food and beverage to support efficient cafe operations, including compliance with COSHH, food hygiene, and kitchen best practices.
Flexibility is Key
: Be ready to shine during weekends and school holidays--this is when the magic happens, and we need you at your best.
Step Up When Needed
: Confidently take charge of the venue in the absence of the Venue Manager, ensuring continuity and consistency of service and operations.

Qualifications
Proven experience in management or supervisory roles, preferably in a childcare or hospitality setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire a team.
Experience working with children, demonstrating a passion for their development and well-being.
Knowledge of childcare practices and early childhood education is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work flexible hours as required by the business needs.
