What you'll be doing



Develop, test, and maintain Python code for a variety of applications Analyse, troubleshoot, and solve complex programming problems Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data science, product, commercial) to deliver new features Write clear, concise, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices Take ownership of technical decisions, contributing to architecture and design choices Help establish strong engineering standards and processes as we scale

Requirements



Strong understanding of Python fundamentals and object-oriented programming Knowledge of relational databases (Postgres), Django, DRF, and FastAPI Solid understanding of REST API design Experience working with containerised applications (e.g. Docker) in a Linux-based environment Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) Knowledge of testing frameworks and a structured approach to debugging/refactoring Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment BSc degree in Computer Science, engineering, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience)

Bonus skills



Knowledge of a relevant frontend framework or library (we use Vue.js) Experience with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP) JavaScript / TypeScript experience
