Job Summary

To support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications under the guidance of a senior developer. The Developer will contribute to building efficient, scalable, and user-friendly solutions by writing clean code, fixing bugs, and participating in code reviews. This role is ideal for individuals eager to learn and grow within a collaborative development environment.

The primary platform the developer will be working on is Corrosion Djinn our C# .NET SaaS application, but as the developer gains experience we can expand this to other areas and software solutions both commerical and internally facing.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement software solutions using languages such as C# & JavaScript. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Maintain and improve existing software applications by troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements. Write clean, maintainable code following best practices in software development. Develop APIs for integration with other systems and services. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members. Utilise version control systems such as Git for source code management. Work with databases including SQL Server to design efficient data storage solutions. Deploy applications on cloud platforms such as Azure. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by conducting testing and debugging.

Skills

Proficiency in programming languages including C# Experience with front-end development technologies and frameworks including Blazor & MVC is preferred. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and application integration techniques. Familiarity with cloud services such as Azure is advantageous. Knowledge of database management systems like SQL Server. Experience using version control tools like GitHub. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
