Overview

We are looking for a Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of software systems that support key business operations.


You'll be working on a range of projects involving both new technologies and legacy systems, working across the full development lifecycle. The role sits within a small, team of developers and operates in a hybrid working environment.

How you'll make an impact

Key Objectives


As a .NET Developer, you will aid in improving and coordinating core systems, encompassing:

Client reporting tools Claim intake systems Back-office claims systems APIs supporting these platforms


Main Responsibilities

Review existing systems and identify opportunities for improvement Present improvement ideas to management and team members Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver effective solutions Produce detailed specifications and write clean, maintainable code Conduct initial testing prior to handover to the QA team Maintain and optimise systems for performance and reliability

About You

Essential:

+ Minimum 2 years of commercial experience in C# and ASP.NET (MVC crucial; Web Forms desirable)
+ Solid understanding of SQL Server
+ Experience of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
+ GCSEs (preferably in Maths and English)
+ You must be eligible to work in the UK
Desirable:


+ Experience with React
+ Familiarity with source control systems (preferably Azure DevOps)
+ Knowledge of web application security protocols
+ Experience with Entity Framework
