What you'll do

In your new role, you'll be working within a feature team to engineer software, scripts and tools, as well as liaising with other engineers, architects and business analysts across the platform.


You'll also be:

Producing complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality which adds value to the business Working in permanent teams who are responsible for the full life cycle, from initial development, through enhancement and maintenance to replacement or decommissioning Collaborating to optimise our software engineering capability Designing, producing, testing and implementing our working software solutions Working across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design, through coding to testing, deployment and operations

The skills you'll need


We're looking for a front-end developer with strong commercial experience in Angular, in particular V19 would be preferred but not essential and who's passionate about building accessible, high-performing web applications.


You'll have a background working in a cross-functional Agile team with familiarity of agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban and be comfortable delivering production-ready code.



You'll also need:

A solid understanding of component-based architecture, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility standards including WCAG and ARIA Knowledge and experience of typescript, HTML, and SCSS, along with RxJS, Signals, or other state management libraries like NgRx Experience writing and maintaining unit tests using Jest or Jasmine The ability to write clean, scalable well documented code and solving problems pragmatically * Exposure to design systems or shared frontend libraries would be beneficial
