Software QA Engineer

6 Month Contract

SW London / Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite

437.50 Per Day (Inside IR35)

A leading global technology company is seeking an experienced Software QA Engineer to join their innovative team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about quality, performance, and reliability, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Champion quality and best practice across teams and projects. Develop and execute detailed test plans and validation procedures. Collaborate with developers and analysts to identify and resolve issues. Configure and manage test tools, troubleshoot bugs, and support release processes. Produce clear testing documentation and provide end-user training when required. Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.

Key Skills & Experience

5+ years' experience in QA or software support. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle. Experience with automated testing (JavaScript/TypeScript), Playwright, and source control tools. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. ISTQB certification, performance testing, and client support experience are advantageous.
