The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our testing team as a
System Tester
(focused on
regression testing
). You will work closely with developers and analysts from the early stages of each project or enhancement to help deliver high-quality software to our clients.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the integrity of our systems by designing and executing regression tests that confirm system changes function as expected and do not adversely affect existing functionality.
Full training on the iCede platform will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to enter the tech industry and join a collaborative, agile team in a fast-paced environment.
For candidates with a background in IT/coding, there is future scope to move into a QA role for automated testing in the future.

Key Responsibilities
Execute manual and automated regression test cases
Run pre-defined test scripts to verify that existing software continues to function correctly after changes.
Log and track defects
Record bugs or inconsistencies using our defect tracking system.
Review release notes and requirements
Identify areas of the system that may be impacted and plan appropriate regression coverage.
Assist in creating and updating test cases
Help maintain test scripts as system features evolve.
Validate fixes under supervision
Re-test resolved defects and confirm no new issues are introduced.
Escalate concerns promptly
Flag unclear test steps, unexpected results, or risks to the Lead Analyst or QA Engineer.
Develop understanding of insurance workflows
Learn how policy management, claims, and reporting components interact.
Be proactive in your own learning
Take initiative in improving your QA knowledge and system familiarity.
Participate in stand-ups and team meetings
Share progress, raise blockers, and contribute to a culture of quality.
Maintain training materials
Keep manuals and video content up to date with system changes.
Eligibility Criteria
Right to work in the UK
Must be within commuting distance of Liverpool City Centre (L3)
A-Levels or equivalent as a minimum with relevant experience
OR a degree in any discipline (no prior experience necessary)
ISTQB or similar testing qualification is desirable but not essential
