About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented

Soils Lab Technician

to join our laboratory team. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in

assembly line work, production line operations, or manufacturing environments

.

You will be responsible for preparing, testing, and analysing soil samples to support geotechnical investigations and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, label, and log soil samples into the lab system Perform routine soil tests Operate and maintain lab equipment Record and report test results accurately Follow strict health & safety and quality control procedures Assist with sample preparation and disposal Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Ideal Background:

Assembly Line Worker

- accustomed to repetitive tasks and quality control

Production Line Technician

- familiar with process monitoring

Manufacturing Technician

- skilled in precision work

Production Operative

- experienced in fast-paced, process-driven environments

Skills & Attributes:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to follow procedures and safety protocols Good physical stamina (some lifting and manual handling required) Team player with a proactive attitude

Training Provided:

Full training will be provided in:

Soil testing procedures and lab protocols Use of lab equipment and data recording systems Health & safety and environmental standards
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 24,000.00 per year
