Having recently won a large solar panel and battery storage contract we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Engineer with experience in Solar to join our dynamic team installing solar panel and battery storage systems across East and West Sussex, As a Solar Installer, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery storage systems. You will work on various projects in both East and West Sussex, ensuring that each system is installed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Installing solar PV systems on residential and commercial rooftops as well as ground-mounted arrays. Perform electrical wiring and connect solar panels to inverters and other system components. Conduct site assessments to determine the best installation locations and system designs. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to solar installations. Maintain and service existing solar PV systems to ensure optimal performance. Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards during installations and maintenance. Collaborate with team members, project managers, and clients to ensure project success. Keep accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.

Requirements:

NVQ level 3 in electrical installation BS 7671:2018 wiring regulations 3-5 years qualified experience Relevant solar & battery storage qualifications (e.g., NVQ, C&G, BPEC, or equivalent) would be desirable but not essential CSCS/ECS (Gold card) Flexible approach to work Knowledge of electrical systems and solar PV technology. Familiarity with relevant tools and equipment for solar installations. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Must have good physical stamina and ability to work at heights. Full UK driver's license. Passion for renewable energy and commitment to sustainable practices. Experience in installation of the following equipment would be advantageous:

- Alpha ESS
- Solis

Working hours:

40 hour basic working week Monday to Friday Options for additional overtime when available
