Empire Electrical is a fast-growing, forward-thinking electrical contractor building a strong reputation across the UK for quality, compliance, and innovation.
With established expertise in EV infrastructure and a rapidly expanding presence in solar PV and battery storage, we're positioning ourselves as a leader in the renewable energy sector.
We're an ISO and NAPIT-accredited business with a small, high-performing team dedicated to delivering safe, smart, and scalable work.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Solar & EV Electrician Supervisor (QS) to play a key role in launching and growing our new Renewables Division.
This is a hands-on leadership role; you'll work directly on our first solar and battery storage projects, ensuring installations meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Once the division is operational, you'll step into a Qualified Supervisor / Renewables Supervisor role, leading teams, overseeing compliance, and helping shape the future of our renewables operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and carry out solar PV and battery storage installations to top quality and safety standards.
Support and supervise EV charger installations in line with NAPIT and manufacturer requirements.
Act as Qualified Supervisor (QS) for testing, certification, and sign-off of electrical work.
Conduct and manage MCS and ECS compliance assessments as the company's Competent Person.
Maintain accurate documentation and inspection/testing records.
Work alongside management to build and mentor the renewables team as the division grows.
Liaise with clients, assess sites, and ensure efficient project delivery.
Immediate Competent Person Status: Go straight onto our NAPIT registration as QS, representing the business for certification and compliance.
What We Offer
Competitive Package:
Attractive salary (based on experience) with company van, phone, fuel card, and laptop.
Professional Growth:
Structured progression into QS and Renewables Supervisor roles, with ongoing mentorship and leadership development.
Training & Accreditation Support:
Full backing through MCS and ECS Competent Person assessments, plus renewables and technical training.
Career Acceleration:
Opportunity to move quickly into senior supervisory or management roles as the renewables division expands.
Impactful Role:
Be directly involved in launching Empire Electricals' first solar and battery installations -- setting standards for quality and compliance from day one.
