We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our growing team. As a Solar Installer, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of solar energy systems. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively with hand and power tools. Duties

Install solar panels on residential and commercial properties according to specifications. Perform electrical work related to solar installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Utilise hand tools and power tools for installation tasks, including drilling, welding, and digging as required. Conduct routine maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation or maintenance processes. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience in electrical work or mechanical roles is preferred. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Basic welding skills are advantageous but not essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications. Ability to dig trenches or perform physical tasks as required by the job. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between job sites.
