The Energy Experts are seeking a skilled and reliable

Solar PV Roofer

to join our expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional with hands-on experience in solar PV installations, particularly roof-mounted systems, to play a key role in delivering high-quality renewable energy solutions across the North East.

Key Responsibilities:

Install solar PV systems on various roof types including

slate, tile, metal, and flat roofs

Ensure all roofing and panel installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards Conduct on-site assessments and measurements where required Work closely with electricians and install teams to ensure smooth and coordinated operations Assist in lifting, fixing, mounting, and sealing solar equipment on rooftops Comply with health and safety procedures at all times, especially working at height Support with material loading, site preparation, and post-installation cleanup Maintain accurate records of work carried out

Requirements:

Proven experience in

solar PV installation

, especially rooftop work Good knowledge of various roofing systems and mounting solutions

Valid UK driving licence

and own transport (essential) Working knowledge of Tesla, Fox, and Sigenergy systems (preferred but not essential) Physically fit and comfortable working at height and in various weather conditions Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities Experience or background in electrical work or solar installation highly desirable Good organisational and

site management skills
