MPC Energy is an established renewable energy company specialising in high-quality solar installations across Scotland.
We are looking for an experienced Roofer / Solar Installer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will focus on the installation of solar panel mounting systems, working closely with other roofing and solar professionals to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient installations.
This position does not include electrical work but requires strong experience with roofing and structural components.

Key Responsibilities

Install solar panel mounting systems on various roof types, including pitched, tiled, flat, and metal roofs Assess roof conditions and prepare surfaces for solar panel installation Perform waterproofing and sealing to protect the integrity of the roof Ensure structural integrity by securely fixing mounting systems to withstand environmental conditions Work collaboratively with electricians and other team members to ensure a smooth installation process Follow all Health and Safety (HSE) regulations and company safety procedures
Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience as a roofer (solar installation experience preferred) Strong knowledge of roofing materials, systems, and repair techniques Familiarity with HSE regulations, working at heights, and fall protection systems Physically fit with good balance and manual dexterity Valid CSCS card or equivalent qualification Working at Heights and Manual Handling certifications preferred Full UK driving licence (preferred)
