Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled

Solar Panel Installer

to join a growing renewable energy company. You'll be working on a variety of residential, commercial, and new-build projects, helping deliver high-quality solar PV installations across Wales.

Solar PV Engineer, Renewable Energy Technician, Electrical Installer, or Rooftop Installer

, we'd love to hear from you.

A company van is provided for travel to project sites, and occasional overnight stays may be required with accommodation and allowances provided.

Key Responsibilities



Installation & Maintenance:

Install, test, and maintain solar PV systems and associated technologies to a high standard

System Commissioning:

Commission systems to ensure performance targets and regulatory compliance are met

Customer Interaction:

Provide clear explanations of system operation and respond professionally to customer queries

Site Management:

Work across domestic, commercial, and new-build project environments effectively

Health & Safety Compliance:

Follow all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with colleagues, project managers, and other trades to deliver projects successfully

Candidate Requirements



Essential:



Proven experience installing solar PV systems and carrying out related electrical work

Experience working on roofs and with a range of roofing materials

Good understanding of electrical components, wiring, and system integration

Comfortable working at height and handling equipment safely

Full, clean UK driving licence

Desirable:



Experience in fault-finding and resolving installation issues

Strong customer service and communication skills

Background in domestic and commercial installation projects

Excellent organisational and time management skills
