We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will take full responsibility for the electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and sign-off of domestic and commercial solar PV systems. You will work closely with our roofing and project management teams to ensure all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with MCS, Building Regulations, and Electrical Safety Standards.

We will fund and support you through recognised Solar PV & Battery Storage courses with ongoing training and career progression as the company grows
Responsibilities
Carry out the electrical installation of solar PV systems, including DC cabling, inverter setup, AC connection, and system integration.
Perform testing, inspection, and commissioning of systems to ensure compliance with BS 7671 and MCS standards.
Complete and sign off electrical installation certificates and full MCS handover documentation.
Liaise with Building Control and relevant authorities to ensure installations meet all legal and regulatory requirements.
Conduct system fault finding, maintenance, and performance testing when required.
Work collaboratively with roofing and project teams to ensure smooth installations and high-quality results.
Maintain a safe and tidy working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent) qualification.
Knowledge of DNO (G98/G99) and Building Control processes.
Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to various sites.
