Solar Project Manager
to oversee the successful delivery of solar PV projects across the
UK and Ireland
.
As our
Solar Project Manager
, you will be managing projects from initial design through to commissioning, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. At Solutions 30 we can provide a full turnkey solution managing all works or we may deliver sections of an overall project.
Our Solar Project Manager would also be responsible for:
Coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project delivery is completed within client expectations.
Developing and maintaining project plans, budgets, risk assessments, and schedules.
Ensuring compliance with UK planning regulations, grid connection requirements, CDM regulations, and health & safety standards in line with Solutions30 policies.
Monitoring construction progress, quality control, and technical performance.
Providing regular project updates and reports to affected stakeholders.
Overseeing procurement of materials and services, ensuring cost and supplier efficiency, and timely delivery.
Review and understand technical drawings and make proposed amendments.
Supporting commissioning, testing, and handover to the client.
We would welcome applicants with the following:
Demonstrable track record managing solar PV or renewable energy projects in the UK.
Strong knowledge of solar technology, grid connection processes, and UK regulatory frameworks and power sector.
Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, or PMP) desirable.
Excellent communication, organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets.
Working knowledge of CDM regulations and HSE requirements.
Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or similar project management tools.
You will also have a network of relationships that will support in sales growth.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to and stay near project sites when required.
