Overview

We are seeking a experienced and skilled Solar PV Electricians & Mates to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept in various electrical tasks. This role involves working with power tools and hand tools to ensure the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in both residential and commercial settings. The Electrician will play a crucial role in ensuring safety and compliance with electrical codes.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. To conduct reactive and scheduled preventative maintenance visits across the north west. This will involve system testing and fault diagnosis relating to the design, installation and communication (with our monitoring platform) of rooftop Domestic and Commercial Solar PV systems. Establish standardised approaches in accordance with best practice, system design and installed equipment with Solar equipment. Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project completion. Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for various tasks. Conduct inspections of electrical systems to ensure they meet safety standards. Weld components as necessary for specific installations or repairs. Dig trenches for wiring installation when required. Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Solar PV Electrician and fully qualified Electricans mates to be experienced in working with Solar. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues. Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools. Familiarity with electrical codes and safety regulations. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 14.00-18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week

10 hour shift 12 hour shift 8 hour shift Monday to Friday
