Solar PV Site Supervisor

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Solar PV Site Supervisor to oversee installations of solar PV systems. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, taking initiative and ensuring high standards of safety and quality.

This role is 40 hours per week; Monday - Friday; 07:30 - 16:00.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate on-site installation of Solar PV systems. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and Health & Safety procedures. Liaise with project managers, clients, and subcontractors. Conduct site assessments and prepare installation plans. Monitor progress and provide regular updates. Maintain accurate records of installations, materials used, and services provided. Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to the development of best practices. Support junior engineers or apprentices.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

Strong knowledge of Solar installations pitched roofs both Commercial and Domestic - Pan Tile and Slate. Experience in Solar DC cabling, optimiser installation, and DC cable termination would be advantageous. A recognised Electrical qualification NVQ level 3 or above. Site supervisor experience to a SSSTS level, overseeing subcontractors and coordinating on-site activities. Good understanding in both industrial and commercial environments. Ability to work at heights. Confidence to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills with a commitment to customer satisfaction, known for being resourceful, adaptable, and can-do approach. Valid driving licence.
