We are seeking an experienced Sales & Project Manager to support our Renewables team in Ringwood. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar sales and project management, and will manage all solar PV projects (including system design, procurement, installation, and commissioning).
Sales & Business Development:
Support the Technical Director's sales activities, attending meetings/site visits as necessary
Prepare quotes
Prospect and build relationships with new and existing residential and commercial clients
Conduct site surveys and provide tailored solar PV system designs to meet client needs
Present project proposals to potential clients, either in person or online
Negotiate contracts and pricing with assistance from the Technical Director
Follow up on leads and manage the sales pipeline
Stay up to date with the solar market, competitor offerings, and technological advancements to identify new opportunities
Participate in CPD activities
Assist with the development of marketing materials for solar products and services
Operations (To be carried out with support from the Technical Director):
Oversee and manage all solar PV projects, including system design, procurement, installation, and commissioning, ensuring MCS requirements are met
Liaise with clients throughout the duration of each project
Source materials and coordinate labour
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and MCS regulations during installation
Act as the first point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and resolving any issues
Identify and manage risks, mitigating potential delays or challenges
Liaise with the admin team to prepare and manage project documentation, including contracts and orders
Strategy:
Meet biannually with Directors to review and update the Business Plan
Develop and implement sales strategies to identify, pursue, and secure solar PV project opportunities
Finance:
Participate in monthly reviews with the Commercial Director to analyse job profitability
Maintain day to day liaison with the Technical Director regarding project variations
Salary:
45,000+ per annum (DOE) + Bonus & Company Vehicle
