We are seeking a dedicated Solicitor to specialise in education law and practice. You will provide expert legal advice and representation to a diverse range of clients, including schools, governing bodies, and individuals on all matters relating to education and supporting the Authority's Modern Education Programme.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Advise on education law, including admissions, exclusions, safeguarding, discrimination, ALN, regulatory compliance, and governance.
Represent clients in negotiations, tribunals, and court proceedings as required.
Draft, review, and negotiate a range of legal documents such as policies, contracts, and regulatory submissions.
Stay abreast of legislative changes and case law within the education sector.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing clear, practical advice tailored to client needs.
