EL/PL Solicitor

Ellesmere Port, Cheshire Salary: Up to 45,000 (DOE)

Clarke Legal Specialists are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and respected law firm in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, who are seeking an experienced Employer's and Public Liability (EL/PL) Solicitor to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated solicitor looking to work within a supportive, modern environment handling a varied caseload of quality EL/PL matters from inception through to settlement or trial.

The Role:

You'll be responsible for managing your own caseload of Employer's Liability and Public Liability claims, both pre- and post-litigated. Day-to-day duties will include: Conducting thorough investigations and gathering evidence Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence Negotiating settlements and attending hearings where required Maintaining excellent client communication and ensuring high standards of service Working collaboratively with colleagues within a close-knit, professional team This role offers exposure to high-quality work and genuine scope for career progression within a firm that truly values its employees.

The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (NQ-5 years PQE considered) Proven experience managing a caseload of EL/PL or general personal injury matters Strong understanding of litigation and procedural rules Excellent communication and client care skills Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
