As a Conveyancing Fee Earner, your primary responsibility is to provide fee-earning services to our clients, liaising with various stakeholders and ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of our residential conveyancing processes. This role offers a unique chance to develop your skills and contribute to the success of our dynamic team.

Duties



To conduct Property Law matters on behalf of clients. Managing all client work allocated by the Conveyancing Manager or Head of Department or any other Director in accordance with the details procedures and quality standards detailed in the firms Office Manual, Procedures and Policies. Ensure that all client work is progressed expeditiously and that the client is kept regularly informed on progress and costs. At all times exercise high standards of client care in a professional and pleasant manner. The management, supervision and development of Conveyancing Assistants or any other support that they are responsible for. Ensure that confidentiality and security of all the firms and client documentation and information. Achieve agreed individual or departmental billing and time recording targets in line with the firms business plan. In close contact with the Accounts Department to have overall responsibility for credit control on own matters and have a thorough understanding of the firms account procedure. Maintain clear and precise communications with other personnel of the firm. Participate in marketing activities, whether on a firm wide or departmental basis, if asked to do so, and be active in promoting the services of the firm and its image/ ethos. Ensuring compliance with quality control and risk management procedures for all matters within their control. Deputising or assisting other colleagues with their workload when needed or providing cover for annual leave or sickness. Ensure good working relationships with third parties, external organisations, and other bodies. To take responsibility for and attend self-development opportunities. Comply with Solicitors Accounts Rules and the Solicitors Regulation Authority Code of Conduct or any other applicable rules as is required by any other professional body (if applicable). Comply with the requirements of the Lexcel and Conveyancing Quality Scheme accreditation and the protocols contained within.

Required qualifications, skills and experience



Qualified as a Solicitor, Legal Exec, Licensed Conveyancer or have the acquired appropriate experience and expertise required to perform the role. A minimum of 2 years' experience in Property Law. It would be desirable to have had experienced a varied caseload of residential property matters to include complex leasehold and shared ownership matters. To undertake and provide a profitable contribution to the work of the Property Department. To assist with the successful development of the Firm in line with the Firm's business plan. Excellent IT skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and multitask. A commitment to providing outstanding client service. Proactive and able to work with a high degree of self-management and initiative.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 28,000.00-50,000.00 per year
