Associate - IP / IT Life Sciences - Cambridge with hybrid working

Role

• Based in the Cambridge office and involves working with clients in a variety of sectors, but with a focus on the life sciences and publishing sectors
• Provide business-oriented advice, and act for SMEs, larger PLCs, multi-national enterprises as well as start-ups, research institutes, charities and spin outs
• Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, and provide a full range of IP and commercial and regulatory advice to clients based locally, and further afield in the wider UK sector and internationally, including in the US
• Engage in business development activities
• Excellent training and career development is on offer within a collegiate environment

You

• 3+ years PQE
• The team sometimes acts as an external resource for over-flow of in-house work. In-house experience can therefore be helpful but it not a requirement
• Will thrive on close client contact and will relish the exposure to quality client contact right from the start
• Excellent academics combined with proven experience in intellectual property and commercial work, is required, and an interest in Life Sciences is desirable
