Who are we looking for?

We have a rare opportunity for a Solicitor or qualified Legal Executive ideally with 2-10 years PQE to join our leading Agri & Estates team. However, we will consider candidates at all PQE levels dependant on experience and capability to manage a caseload.

The role will be based at our Newcastle office but applications to work in our regional offices would be considered.

Ideally, we are interested to hear from candidates looking for full time hours but flexible working suggestions and part-time hours may be considered.

The Agri & Estates department is one of the largest dedicated teams of its kind in the UK. The team represents landowners and high net worth clients who require a high level of support and expert care in order to plan their future affairs. The role has the unique opportunity to work across both aspects of this practice area being Agricultural property work as well as Wills, Trusts and Estate planning. The successful candidate could cover both of these areas or maintain their focus on either of these chosen specialisms.

The successful candidate will have a proactive, 'can-do' attitude to enable them to handle a mixed caseload involving working closely with a team of legal fee earners on all aspects of their work. The ability to work as part of a team is therefore essential together with excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
