The Opportunity
We're hiring a
Solutions Consultant
with strong foundations in
engineering, product development, and RFID technologies (HF, UHF)
.
In this role, you'll work closely with a small number of strategic customers to
design, develop and deliver RFID?based products and solutions
that address sector?specific challenges such as asset visibility, inventory accuracy, condition monitoring and automated identification.
This is a hands?on, high?ownership role ideal for someone who enjoys deep technical discovery, productising prototypes, and taking solutions from concept through delivery.
What you'll do
Customer Discovery & Requirements
Run technical discovery sessions and workshops to understand customer problems, processes and constraints.
Translate customer goals into technical requirements and product specifications.
Evaluate feasibility of RFID (HF, UHF) technologies for diverse use cases.
RFID Solution & Product Design
Architect solutions incorporating RFID readers, antennas, tags, sensors, gateways and middleware.
Select appropriate tag types, ICs, encodings and antenna configurations.
Produce functional designs, system diagrams, prototypes and early?stage product concepts.
Product Development & Engineering Support
Collaborate with hardware, firmware and software engineers to shape new product features and enhancements.
Lead small-scale technical investigations, bench testing and validation of RFID performance.
Document system behaviours, edge cases and environmental considerations.
Customer Delivery & Project Execution
Drive solution development on a small portfolio of direct customer projects.
Plan and execute PoCs and pilot deployments; capture data, performance results and user feedback.
Oversee integration with customer systems (API specs, data formatting, event workflows).
Support deployment, configuration, and operational handover.
Documentation & Technical Leadership
Produce clear documentation including HLD/LLD, test plans, product specifications and deployment guides.
Provide training and technical guidance to internal teams and customer stakeholders.
Act as a trusted advisor--bridging technical detail with real operational outcomes.
What you'll bring
5+ years in

Engineering background with experience in test processes
Practical experience with
RFID technologies (HF, UHF)
--including tag selection, encoding, antenna design considerations, power tuning, environmental constraints and performance testing.
Familiarity with reader hardware, modules, antennas, edge devices or IoT gateways.
Ability to create technical documentation, diagrams, product specifications and test frameworks.
Strong customer?facing communication: workshops, presentations and translating requirements into deliverables.
Nice to have
Experience designing or developing RFID?enabled products.
Exposure to RTLS, BLE, UWB or sensor?based tracking technologies.
Understanding of manufacturing, logistics or retail workflows.
Knowledge of cloud services or edge?processing frameworks.
Hardware/electronic engineering fundamentals (RF basics, testing equipment, EMC considerations).
