We are recruiting for a Solutions Development Manager with research and/or innovative skills to join our London office to deliver The Line: an exciting and visionary cross-border city in the Tabuk Province of north-western Saudi Arabia. The City will serve Neom Region: an area near the Red Sea and the borders of Egypt, Israel, and Jordan. It will cover a total area of 26,500 km2 (10,200 sq mi) and will extend 460 km along the coast of the Red Sea.

The Role

As a Solutions Development Manager within the Research & Innovation (R&I) team on The Line, the successful candidate will lead the development of cutting-edge solutions for our organization. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and a passion for innovation. Motivated and experienced, the successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering successful solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of new and innovative solutions to meet the needs of the NEOM The Line teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify market trends, and evaluate potential solutions.
  • Develop and implement project plans for solution development, including project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Manage the solution development process, including project planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Ensure solutions are developed in accordance with best practices standards and established policies.
  • Oversee the quality assurance process and ensure solutions are thoroughly tested before deployment.
  • Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, team management and senior leadership.
  • Manage relationships with external partners and vendors as needed.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve solution development processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in the technology industry and identify opportunities for innovation.
Core Requirements

Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Skills / Experience
  • Demonstrable hands on experience in solution development, with a focus on research and innovation.
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong technical background and understanding of solution development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
  • Experience with software development tools and technologies.
