About You:


You are a knowledgeable and enthusiastic wine professional who has ideally worked in established hospitality settings and has great passion for wines. Your experience and knowledge in wine selection and pairing enhances the dining experience for our guests. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are always willing to learn and thrive in a Team dynamic.

Key Responsibilities:



Wine Selection:

Provide assistance to the Senior Sommeliers in curating and maintaining an extensive wine list that complements our menu and enhances the dining experience.

Guest Interaction:

Provide recommendations and guidance to guests on wine selection and pairing.

Wine Service:

Serve wine to guests, ensuring proper presentation and service techniques.

Inventory Management:

Assist the Senior Sommeliers in managing wine inventory, including ordering, receiving, and proper storage of wines.

Training and Development:

Attend training sessions and adopt a proactive approach to your own learning.

Customer Service:

Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:



Experience:

Education:

Certification from a recognized sommelier programme (e.g., Court of Master Sommeliers, WSET level 2) is preferred.

Proven experience

as a Sommelier or in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a fine dining and Michelin starred setting.

Wine Knowledge:

Extensive knowledge of wines, regions, and wine-making techniques.

Customer Focus:

A genuine passion for hospitality and customer service, with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Organizational Skills:

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and tact.

Flexibility:

Availability to work evenings and weekends as required by the Business.

Start Date: Immediate start

Location: Three Darlings, Pavilion Road, London

Must already have the right to work and live in the UK without any restrictions.
