Sonographer - Obstetric & General (Part-Time / Full-Time)

We are a newly established, CQC-registered private ultrasound clinic in Croydon, South London. We are currently recruiting experienced and compassionate sonographers to support our pregnancy and general ultrasound services. We offer flexible working patterns and a modern, supportive environment that prioritises high-quality patient care.
We have the following positions available: two part-time pregnancy sonographers, one part-time general sonographer, and we will also consider a full-time pregnancy sonographer.
Scan types offered include obstetric (2D, 3D/4D, early pregnancy, gender, anomaly scans for FASP-trained professionals, growth, and bonding scans), general abdominal (liver, kidneys, bladder, prostate, KUB), gynaecological (pelvic, post-menopause, well-woman, cervical length), MSK (shoulder, knee, wrist, hip, soft tissue), and vascular (carotid, aortic, and Doppler studies).
We provide flexible schedules with the option to work 2 to 5 days per week. Weekday, weekend, and evening shifts are available. Family-friendly and school-time hours can be arranged. A full induction and mentorship programme is offered, along with CPD support and a welcoming, professional team culture in a beautifully designed clinic environment.
To attract and retain top-tier sonographers, we offer a thoughtfully structured supplemental pay package. This includes a signing bonus of 500 upon joining (paid after successful onboarding), and a feedback-based performance bonus of 2 per scan that receives a verified 5-star Google review. Bonuses are paid monthly based on verified reviews tied to completed scans.
Applicants must have HCPC or NMC registration (or an equivalent working in the UK. Compassion, professionalism, and a collaborative attitude are essential.
Responsibilities
Perform obstetric and general ultrasound examinations, ensuring high-quality imaging and accurate results.
Maintain knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to assist in patient assessments.
Adhere to HCPC and NMC guidelines while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans.
Keep detailed records of procedures and patient interactions, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
