Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist in the evaluation of patients' health conditions. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as proficiency in medical terminology. The Sonographer will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate imaging and contribute to patient care.

Duties



Conduct ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality images are obtained for diagnostic purposes. Collaborate with physicians to determine the appropriate imaging techniques based on patient needs. Maintain accurate records of patient history and examination results. Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions or issues promptly. Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures during procedures. Provide clear explanations to patients regarding the procedures being performed, ensuring their comfort and understanding. Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques, including CT and mammography when applicable.

Qualifications



Proven knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential. Experience in performing ultrasound examinations; familiarity with CT and mammography is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients and colleagues. Relevant qualifications in sonography or a related field are required. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Pay: 39.11-45.05 per hour
