Sonographer – Msk & Obstetric Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Sonographer with specialized skills in Musculoskeletal (MSK) and Obstetric (OB) ultrasound imaging. The successful candidate will play a key role in performing high-quality ultrasound examinations and delivering accurate diagnostic information to support patient care.
Responsibilities:
Perform MSK ultrasound scans including soft tissue, joints, tendons, ligaments, and guided procedures.
Conduct obstetric ultrasound examinations including first trimester dating, anomaly scans, fetal growth, and wellbeing assessments.
Interpret ultrasound findings and provide clear and accurate technical impressions or reports as per organizational protocol.
Collaborate with radiologists, obstetricians, orthopedic specialists, and referring physicians to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes.
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.
Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality at all times.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment according to manufacturer specifications and department policies.
Adhere to infection control, health and safety, and clinical governance standards.
Participate in quality assurance activities and continuing professional development.
Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent accredited qualification Current registration with HCPC, ARDMS or SoR Certification or demonstrable competence in MSK and Obstetric ultrasound
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: 40,000.00-55,000.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday Weekend availability
Work Location: In person
