Job Summary
We are urgently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive S&OP Manager to lead the supply and operations planning function, managing the forecast, planning and demand process.
You will be responsible for providing accurate and timely forecasts and productions plans, optimising inventory levels to ensure alignment with the business and customer OTIF objectives.
You will play a crucial role in streamlining our sales and operations processes, ensuring that our supply chain is efficient and responsive to market demands. The S&OP Manager will collaborate closely with various departments to drive improvements and support strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
Manage the forecast, planning and demand process.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external).
Oversee inventory levels across all customers to ensure alignment with demand forecasts, production schedules and customer service requirements.
Contribute to the development, implementation and delivery of strategic objectives and initiatives for the S&OP, Operations and Supply Chain teams.
Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with sales management to develop accurate forecasts that align with business objectives.
Facilitate cross-functional meetings to discuss performance, challenges, and action plans.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and priorities.
Provide administrative support in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation related to S&OP processes.
Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing organisational efficiency and effectiveness within the supply chain.
Build and/or develop a high performing S&OP team software system.
Ensure compliance with all business policies and regulatory requirements.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a similar role within supply planning and operations management within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Advanced Excel skills.
Formal qualification in supply chain management or applicable related subject.
Strong analytical decision-making and communication / presentation skills; with a working knowledge of commercial and financial operations
Proficient in and able to assist with scoping a supply planning software package.
Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities within a dynamic environment and deliver to agreed deadlines.
Able to positively influence change and promote and deliver a culture of continuous improvement.
