S&OP / Supply Chain Planning Manager - Birmingham (On-Site)

Overview:

A leading FMCG/food manufacturing business is seeking an experienced

S&OP / Supply Chain Planning Manager

to drive alignment across sales, marketing, production, and finance. Reporting into the Head of Supply Chain you will lead the S&OP cycle, optimize demand and supply planning, and support continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring quality and compliance standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the end-to-end S&OP process, including demand and supply planning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align forecasts, production schedules, and inventory. Implement and optimize planning systems, KPIs, and reporting tools. Drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy, efficiency, and resource utilization. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing S&OP team.

Candidate Profile:

Strong knowledge of supply chain, demand planning, production planning, and inventory management. Proven experience leading S&OP processes and cross-functional alignment. Skilled in data analytics, forecasting, and process optimization. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Qualifications: GCSEs in English and Maths; degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred; relevant certifications desirable (e.g., CPIM, CSCA)
