We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Billy's in Hawkshead. The ideal candidate will be someone who is experienced, organised and passionate about what they do and always looking to grow and develop as a team.
Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and ensuring smooth workflow.
Prepare high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency during service.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment.
Extensive food production and culinary experience using different techniques.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Previous restaurant is highly desirable.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage / work within a team effectively.
Knowledge of food safety standards is essential.
Experience serving in a fast-paced setting with excellent organisational skills

Pay: 30,000.00-36,270.41 per year
