Role
We are currently looking for a Sous Chef to join our Culinary Services team at Rosewood London. The Sous Chef reports directly to the Senior Sous Chef and is responsible for all culinary areas of the Banqueting Kitchen.
Key expectations of this role
Observing methods of food preparation and cooking, sizes of portions, and garnishing of foods to ensure food is prepared in prescribed manner.
Maximising the effectiveness of associates by developing each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching and mentoring
Consistently maintains established standards across the department through leading by example and quality control.
Profile
The ability to demonstrate leading and developing people effectively.
Proven culinary skills in an upscale, all day dining and afternoon tea environment.
The ability to build strong relationships with the floor team of the Food & Beverage Services department.
A good understanding of leading and developing people effectively.
