We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of performance. Coordinate food production activities to meet service times and quality expectations. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen environment. Support in training and mentoring junior team members to develop their culinary skills and knowledge. Contribute to menu planning and development by suggesting innovative ideas and seasonal specials. Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory management, and place orders as needed to ensure smooth operations. Uphold excellent customer service standards during serving times, ensuring guest satisfaction.

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment. Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation across diverse cuisines. Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse culinary team. Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential. Practical experience in restaurant service and customer interaction is advantageous.

Pay: 15.50-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
