Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to assist our Head Chef & lead our kitchen team at West Ivy. This pivotal role involves overseeing food preparation, maintaining high standards of quality, and ensuring our guests enjoy every dining experience.
Responsibilities
Assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen team
Oversee food production and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency in the kitchen.
Train and supervise staff to foster a collaborative and motivated team.
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to optimise resources.
Ensure exceptional service by coordinating with front-of-house staff.
Uphold the restaurant's reputation for quality and hospitality excellence.
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent communication skills and ability to inspire a team.
Previous restaurant or culinary experience is essential.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
