Overview


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities



Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus that meet quality standards and customer expectations. Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and other team members. Oversee food preparation processes to ensure consistency, presentation, and adherence to health and safety regulations. Manage daily kitchen operations, including stock control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards. Support in training new staff members and fostering a positive team environment. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times. Contribute to the development of new recipes and menu items to enhance the dining experience. Assist in serving customers when required, ensuring excellent hospitality service is maintained.

Experience



Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment. Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation across various cuisines. Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Strong knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and food safety legislation. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with food presentation techniques and maintaining high standards of quality. Experience in managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and controlling costs within a busy kitchen setting. Pay: 12.93-13.50 per hour
